What We Publish
The AI Pulse serves a global audience of executives, board members, policy makers, digital transformation leaders, and public sector professionals seeking to understand how AI is reshaping strategy, governance, and organisational change.
We publish two types of content:
Perspective
Sharp, informed commentary that surfaces new ideas or challenges current thinking. Perspective pieces present a clear opinion on what should or shouldn't be happening, and what leaders can do about it.
Analysis
Evidence-based analysis on emerging developments, policy debates, research findings, and strategic implications. Analysis pieces help readers understand what's at stake and why it matters for their organisations.
We do not publish academic papers, technical documentation, product announcements, or promotional content. Submissions that arrive in academic format, contain extensive footnotes, or read as marketing material will not be considered.

Submission Guidelines
Before You Write
We encourage prospective contributors to familiarise themselves with our published content before submitting. Review recent articles to understand our tone, depth, and audience expectations.
If you have an idea but aren't sure if it's right for us, feel free to send a brief pitch (2-3 sentences describing your argument) to contributions@theaipulse.com before writing a full draft.
Submission Requirements
- Completed drafts only. We do not review outlines or partial drafts.
- Length: 800-1,500 words. Longer pieces may be considered for significant topics.
- Format: Google Docs with editing access enabled, or Word document.
- Style: Clear, accessible prose written for senior leaders who are policy-literate but not technical specialists. Avoid jargon, acronyms, and academic language.
- Sources: Include hyperlinks to credible sources supporting your claims. No footnotes or endnotes.
- Bio: Include a 2-3 sentence author biography and headshot.
- Disclosure: Authors must disclose any affiliation, funding, or commercial relationship relevant to their topic.
Writing for Leaders
Our readers are busy executives and policy makers. They want to understand:
- What is happening and why it matters
- What they should think about it
- What they can do about it
Get to your argument quickly. Lead with the insight, not the background. Every paragraph should earn its place.
What Makes a Strong Submission
- A clear argument. State your position early and support it throughout.
- Practical relevance. Connect ideas to decisions leaders actually face.
- Original thinking. Offer a perspective that isn't already widely circulated.
- Grounded in evidence. Support claims with credible sources, data, or experience.
- Accessible language. Write for intelligent non-specialists.
What We Don't Accept
- Academic papers or reports (even abbreviated versions)
- Product or service promotion
- Content previously published elsewhere
- AI-generated content without substantial human editorial input
- Pieces without a clear argument or point of view
- Content that reads as corporate communications
Editorial Process
All submissions are reviewed by our editorial team. We aim to acknowledge receipt within one week and provide a decision within two weeks.
If your piece is accepted:
- We will work with you on edits for accuracy, clarity, style, and length
- You will have the opportunity to review changes before publication
- We will coordinate publication timing with you
Please note: The decision to publish is at the sole editorial discretion of The AI Pulse. We receive more submissions than we can publish and cannot provide detailed feedback on pieces we decline.
Rights and Attribution
Contributors retain copyright to their work. By submitting, you grant The AI Pulse a non-exclusive license to publish your piece on our website, in our newsletter, and on our social media channels, with full attribution.
We ask that if you republish elsewhere after publication with us, you include a note indicating the piece originally appeared on The AI Pulse with a link to the original.
